San Marcos Restoration
San Marcos Restoration
Just south of Santa Fe, New Mexico, along the San Marcos Arroyo lies revitalized habitat meant to slow the passing water and be regenerative for the vegetation and animals that inhabitat this area. This project was a collaboration between public and private entities that included invasive species removal, rock structures to improve water circulation, and revegetation. The following slides show some of the inhabitants that have benefitted from this restoration work.
